I lost 65 pounds on the Ideal Protein Protocol and am successfully maintaining my goal weight for two years now. I gradually gained weight over twenty years due to bad eating habits and food combinations, stress and hormone imbalance, as well as, inactivity due to the stress on my body caused by the increased weight. I tried many things from paleo diet, personal trainer, 5-6 day workouts, running and alternative health techniques to loss my weight. Nothing worked until I had the wonderful opportunity to be an Ideal Protein Health Coach a few years ago. When I learned about the protocol, the accountability, the structure and the wealth of resources, tools, education and support offered during the weight loss stage and especially for maintaining my new healthy lifestyle – I had to try the program. It worked! I am so much healthier, physically active, and living a much better quality of life. My sleep has improved and I have learned so much that my eating habits and behavior has completely changed for the better. I no longer NEED certain unhealthy foods like chocolate cake, candy and pastries – rather I choose to treat myself to any of these and I enjoy the delectable food without feeling guilty. I highly recommend this weigh loss program. I am a carb and sugar loving person who has tried several of the fad diets along with weight watchers. This programs food is satisfying, the daily videos are full of helpful information, and the weekly check-in appointment with a nutritionist was the accountability factor I needed. I was able to lose 100 lbs in just under 12 months… without exercise. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to lose significant weight.

Better than a Keto diet, you get a coach who is a nutritionist, weekly weigh ins, meal packets that are ready to go so you only need to prep 1 meal a day, and a huge community base for extra support & tips.  The weight loss is fast & healthy, eliminating sugar, dairy, carbs & fatty proteins outside of what’s in their food during the 1st phase.  They’ve done all the thinking for you, so it’s not complicated like a keto plan & better for your heart.  I no longer need BP meds after 2 weeks!  And most of the food is really good… all of it is filling.  So many recipes to keep it fresh & new.  Overall program is comparable to the same cost you’d pay on Jenny Craig… a little more but you get a lot more.

I am very pleased with my experience in the POEM program.  The Ideal Protein system they use really does work!  
My doctor had warned me that I was borderline diabetic and that I should lose weight or he would have to begin prescribing me diabetic meds.  I wanted to avoid that so I searched for an alternative.  I found the POEM weight management facility.  I lost the weight I needed to over the course of 2 – 3 months.  My coach trained me on how to keep a daily journal of my meals.  Weekly weigh-ins helped to keep me accountable.  Most importantly,  I was educated on how to make wiser decisions about my diet as well as portion control.  
It’s great to now easily fit into pants that I never thought I could again. I look and feel great and I avoided the meds.

I started the Ideal Protein diet on the advice of my wonderful doctor, Dr. Casey Fu.  She, and all of the staff in her office had tried the diet, and all had been successful in weight loss.  I had been overweight most of my adult life, and had been on many diets, always with the roller coaster effect of some weight loss, but then gaining it back within months. This is the first diet that I have tried where I started losing pounds and inches from my “belly fat” from the beginning.  I’ve lost 70 pounds and 4 pant sizes in 6 months, and I feel great!  (of course, I’ve spent a fortune on new clothes, but not complaining!) You might think losing 70 pounds would result in more energy, but that has not been the case for me; I am not disappointed though, because I still have as much energy as I had before the diet. Maybe it’s because I’m in my 60s and am just expected to have less energy as I age?  I am sure that my ankle, knee, and hip joints appreciate having 70 less pounds to carry around. My coach, has been so encouraging and supportive during the process! Her weekly measurements showed inches reduced even on weeks with little or no actual weight loss.  I gladly recommend this diet to anyone who asks, (and many people ask). I know of at least one coworker who has started the program and is already pleased with the results he has obtained in the first two weeks.

I highly recommend the POEM program for weight loss. My diet coach was encouraging and affirming and the Ideal Protein shakes and bars were delicious.
